It is rumoured that the entire village disappeared overnight in the area where compasses do not work. Explore this crumbling Hakka village n the beautiful backdrop of Plover Cove Countrypark... if you dare!

Dog-friendly bus from Central: $130pp

Ferry from Ma Liu Shui Pier: $185pp (return) 

We will be catching a speedboat from Ma Liu Shui Pier to Lai Chi Wo, and from here it is a short 30-45 minute hike to So Lo Pun. You are welcome to explore the area in your own time, however, please note that the buildings are old and we do not advise entering the village houses. 

There are kiosks and refreshments available in Lai Chi Wo, though we advise you pack a light snack and some water.
